Sounding Zone
警笛区間(けいてきくかん)
Meaning
A sign requiring that, within the zone it marks, you sound your horn when passing intersections with poor visibility, bends in the road, or the tops of upward slopes.
Common mistake on the test
A frequent test point: you do not sound the horn constantly within the zone, only when passing intersections, bends or hilltops with poor visibility.
