ひし形の路面標示（ひしがたのろめんひょうじ）
Meaning
A road marking that notifies you of a pedestrian crossing or bicycle crossing lane ahead. It is painted in stages leading up to the crossing.
Common mistake on the test
The diamond is advance notice of "pedestrian crossing ahead". Note that it is not the crossing marking itself but is painted before it.
