Gaimen50-question practice tests in the real exam formatZebra zone (channelizing zone)
ゼブラゾーン（導流帯）（どうりゅうたい）
Meaning
A road marking with a zebra-stripe pattern that guides vehicles onto a safe path (導流帯). It is painted near intersections with complicated traffic flows and the like, to guide your course.
Common mistake on the test
You should avoid the channelizing zone where possible, but driving over it is not a lane-division violation. Saying "entry is absolutely prohibited" is wrong. It is different from a no-entry area.
