Meaning
An area marked by a yellow frame in which you must not stop (停止禁止部分). It is provided so that intersections and facility entrances are not blocked during traffic congestion.
Common mistake on the test
You may drive through it, but you must not "stop" inside it. Note the difference from a no-entry area (where entering itself is prohibited).
